Yellow Jacket football great and Clemson standout, Rashard Hall hosted his second annual back to school event at St. Augustine High School over the weekend, to help raise money, school supplies, and awareness for homeless and underprivlidged children in St. Augustine.
Hall teamed up with other local athletes who have gone on to become stars at higher levels of their sport, including Brandon James, Willie Cooper, and Tony Steward among many others. The group put on a celebrity basketball game at St. Augustine High School to a packed gymnasium, with food, games, dancing and contests for the kids.
FCS Media's Pete Melfi and That Rick 904 helped document the event. Mr. Hall interviewed some of the heavy hitters in attendance, including motivational speaker and Amazon #1 Memoir Author, Derrick Grace.
Hall's West Augustine Foundation hosted the event. There was also a large focus on educating and empowering the west augustine community.
