*Precautionary Boil Water Notice for St. Augustine Beach*

(St. Augustine Beach, FL– July 24, 2018) – A precautionary Boil Water Notice will be issued for St. Augustine Beach serviced by the St. Johns County Utility Department. The addresses affected include:

St. Johns County Utility Department has reported a water main break in the area impacting an estimated 99 residences.

Under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled first. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used. The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until lab tests show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.
