Mayoral candidate, Bill McClure was the first politician to pull his ads from Historic City News, after its owner/editor went on a rant against a voter who asked to be removed from HCN's mailing list.
Sources close to McClure confirm that the reason for dropping his association with HCN was over the comments that the owner of the publication made towards a voter on Thursday.
In a statement, McClure said, "That language is unacceptable for him or anyone to use. America needs to be a colorblind society. I'll be a Mayor who brings our community together."
NOTE: The ads are currently still up on the site, however we have been told that McClure expressly requested they be removed as soon as possible.
