UPDATE: BODY DISCOVERED: Before daybreak Tuesday morning, Investigators, along with Dive Team members with the St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office began recovery efforts of a body discovered near Wildwood Drive, in a retention pond. The SJSO Aviation Unit discovered what appeared to be a petroleum based film on a pond while searching for a missing person late Monday evening. Investigators went to the site and located what appeared to be motorcycle tracks, that ended at the edge of the pond. A deputy was positioned at the pond overnight to ensure the security of the area, when the deputy made the discovery around 5:00 a.m. this morning.

Detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit are seeking the whereabouts of a 20-year old St. Johns County male. Arthur Charles Wagner III, 20, has not been seen or heard from since this past Saturday. Wagner who also goes by the name of “Artie” was last seen on a yellow dirt bike (photo attached) in the area of Wildwood Dr. on Saturday.
According to family members, Wagner is despondent and recently made threats to harm himself and is listed as Missing and Endangered.
Wagner is a white male, 20-years old, 5’10” tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
