They call themselves the Renegade Volunteers, and they seem to have a passion for helping people after hurricanes. They've become local heroes for their volunteer work around town, especially after Matthew and Irma, when they went neighborhood to neighborhood helping people clean debris, and get their lives back together.
Kimberly Sabato put out word yesterday that they will be collecting supplies that they will personally be delivering to the panhandle area, and they're asking for our help in gathering those supplies. She says they will be going up Saturday or Sunday depending on when their convoy is full.
If you would like to offer donations, you can reach out to Kimberly Sabato or Eve Dreyer for more information.
