Flagler and St. Johns County Saw THREE School Shooting Threats Yesterday

December 8, 2018

It was a strange and tense day Friday, as we saw three schools across Flagler and St. Johns County faced with what they believed to be credible threats of extreme violence.

St. Joseph Academy shut down and sent students home after one student threatened to shoot up the school, and then reportedly posted pictures of himself with a firearm on social media.

St. Augustine High School officials found suspicious writing on a bathroom stall that they believed indicated an event being planned for Dec. 7th, however some speculated that the message simply related to a video game release.

And at Buddy Taylor Middle School in Flagler County, police took a 14 year old into custody after he was found with a loaded gun at school.
