The Beach Commission decided Tuesday night, to hold off on paid parking progress, at least for now.
The decision of course does not mean paid parking is over, this just delays the process.
One of the Beach's most vocal voices, Denny Dean says, "I'm worried we could get a worse replacement, if that is possible."
Mayor George said she wants to "Tweak the plan to eliminate parking at the A street and 2nd ave areas."
Commissioner Maggie Kostka said she did believe that residents of the beach should pay "zero" when paid parking is implemented.
While commissioners did work closer to the middle with residential parking solutions, residents showed up to again voice their opposition to paid parking, despite these new concessions from the commission.
