4 Arrested In Transient Drug House Bust
Special Investigations Unit Detectives ventured to this residence to serve a search warrant yesterday, for the 3rd time this year. The house located along Chapel Road in the SE District is known for transient drug use. Yesterday, detectives arrested 4 suspects from the house for a variety of charges.
Those arrested during the search warrant were: James Adam Platt, 31, Sale of Methamphetamine; Harley Shane Canada, 43, Possession of Ammo by a convicted felon; James Wayne Carter, 36, Keeping a Nuisance Structure for Drug Activity and David Micheal Ruffo, 35, Poss. Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
While investigating this issue for the 3rd time, detectives initiated conversations with SJC Code Enforcement due to the ongoing issue, as well as, SJC Fire Marshal’s Office to mitigate any community hazards, in order to seek a permeant remedy to this issue.
