Many remember the outrage last year about a teacher who's questions seemed a bit too politically motivated for some parents and students at St. Augustine High School.
You may remember one question in particular, that many believed was aimed at President Donald Trump.
QUESTION: "Right when it appeared the nation was becoming increasingly tolerant of alternative lifestyles, immigration, and minorities, a vocal angry right wing forced the nation to make a complete (fill in the blank question on test), embracing bigotry, xenophobia, and racism."
At the time, the teacher told concerned parents, reporters, and students, that the question was about another time in world history, and not about his current views on the United States.
This teacher has now been arrested.
Deputies arrested St. Augustine High School English teacher John Blackford, 50, on Saturday for DUI and marijuana possession.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said Blackford was driving with a blood alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit and had less than 20 grams of marijuana in his truck.
