Local 3yr Old Jude Battling Rare Cancer. Raffle To Help With Bills Coming Up Dec 23

December 14, 2019

This year the St Johns Permit Center is donating all monies collected to one of their own.

Justin Kelly is a Plans Examiner in the Growth Management division. His Son Jude who is 3 years old is battling a rare form of cancer called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis and was diagnosed June 2019.

LCH is a type of cancer that can damage tissue or cause tumors to form in one or more places in the body. Langerhans cells, which help regulate the immune system, are normally found throughout the body. LCH causes excess immature Langerhans cells to form tumors and can cause damage to healthy bones, organs, and tissue.

Jude is currently undergoing Chemo therapy.

With the upcoming Holiday and the pouring in of medical bills, The St. Johns Permit Center would like to donate all the monies collected from the raffle to this family. If you do not want to participate in the raffle you are more than welcome to make a donation for the family.

You can also enter and make a donation at the main St. John’s county utility office off of state road 16.
