There's been a ton of buzz surrounding this year's first ever "AS IF! 90's Fest."
The event will be held at Francis Field from 12p-10p on May 16th, 2020, and looks to be kicking off "North Florida's RADDEST festival," in style, with the announcement of Eve 6 as their headliner. And if the colorful Saved By The Bell style poster didn't put you in a nostalgic mood already, just listen to the first few seconds of Eve 6's Inside Out, and you'll instantly be transported to the middle school/high school bus stop.
This morning, the official event page posted this message: "So stoked to announce our headliner!!90’s rockers EVE 6 will be onsite for an amazing night, with an opening reunion performance from SPIDERMONKEY!!! Tell your friends it’s going down~"
All the trappings of the ‘90s will be part of the festival. There will be a Lisa Frank selfie station, a slime zone, iconic ‘90s music and games, and more. Food trucks will be on hand, and there will be plenty of snacks and beverages to purchase.
The all-day concert lineup will feature Salt & Pine, Kapowski, Nerd Kill Overdrive, Bad Dog Mama, Ramona, Chillula, and more. Details on the schedule, including celebrity headliner and MC, will be announced soon.
More big announcements are said to be rolled out in the next few weeks as quite a few notable names are said to be on board for the first ever event.
I'll be out there in my pump-up kicks, trying to walk smoothly enough to keep my walkman from skipping!
