SJSO: Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate the death of Brianna Gibson, following her discovery along A1A North, this past Sunday morning.
A developing timeline of events from last Saturday evening and into Sunday morning has detectives seeking additional information from anyone who may have seen the couple after 12:52 a.m., Sunday morning. According to detectives, the couple left Brianna’s Middleburg home at 10:20 p.m., and were next seen at 10:40 p.m. at the Publix on Blanding Boulevard. The next sighting of the couple occurred at 12:52 a.m., at Shore Liquors, also along Blanding Boulevard. Currently, the last known location of the pair was at the Circle K on Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville, before Brianna was located by a passing motorist at 4:30 a.m., in Ponte Vedra. The couple were traveling in each occurrence in Brianna’s white Hummer SUV (pictured below). Detectives believe the pair may have traveled to an eating or drinking establishment between the last sighting in Jacksonville and the Ponte Vedra location along A1A North.
