Local Attorney Busted Allegedly Taking Adderall As Payment
A criminal defense attorney in St. Johns County has been arrested for purchasing Adderall, an amphetamine.
In January 2021, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Tri-County Narcotics Task Force received information that Michael Stover, 33, of St. Johns County was requesting and then receiving narcotics as payment for his services.
Stover was caught through a law enforcement surveillance meeting with someone and taking possession of 60 Adderall pills, amounting to five grams of amphetamines.
FDLE agents, with the assistance from the Tri-County Narcotics Task Force and Florida Highway Patrol, arrested Stover today, Jan. 14, and booked him into the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
